Project Description
New 4-lane divided highway from Interstate
275 at Roosevelt Boulevard (SR 686) westward and parallel
to 118th Avenue North, to a temporary terminus at 31st
Court North. It will provide connection to both northbound
and southbound I-275. Other phases (segments) will continue
the alignment westward and parallel to 118th Avenue
near 43rd Avenue, then northward to link up with Roosevelt
Boulevard at Ulmerton Road (SR 688) near the St. Petersburg/Clearwater
Airport.
Proposed Limits:
I-275 westward to 31st Court North.

(SR 686) at Ulmerton Road (SR 688) near the St. Petersburg-Clearwater
Airport, and provide a new westbound CR 296 Ramp from
I-275 Northbound at Roosevelt Boulevard.

31st Court North westward to near 43rd
Street.

Project Description
Extension of Roosevelt Boulevard (SR686)
south of Ulmerton Road (SR 688) near the St. Petersburg-Clearwater
Airport, southward to 118th Avenue North. This phase
also includes the associated widening of Ulmerton Road
from 49th Street to 38th Street. Other phases (segments)
will widen existing Roosevelt Boulevard between 49th
Street and Ulmerton Road, and add a southbound "flyover"
exit ramp from the Bayside Bridge to Roosevelt Boulevard.
Proposed Limits:
Roosevelt Boulevard at Ulmerton Road
to 118th Avenue North.
Other Project Statistics:

Project Description
Widen existing Roosevelt Boulevard
(SR 686) between 49th Street/Bayside Bridge and Ulmerton
Road (SR 688) to a 6-lane divided highway with a three-lane
one-way frontage road on each side, subject to coordination
with the upcoming St. Petersburg-Clearwater Airport
Master Plan Update by the Airport Authority. A future
phase will add a southbound "fly-over" exit
ramp from the Bayside Bridge to Roosevelt Boulevard.
Proposed Limits:
49th Street/Bayside Bridge southward
to Ulmerton Road.
